AKARYMAX® is a botanical acaricide designed for the control of phytophagous mites. Its formulation includes a complex blend of compounds with multiple modes of action, such as alkaloids and various fatty acids. These compounds act synergistically to produce deterrent effects like sexual disruption, starvation, behavioral changes, and damage to the cuticle.

The product also affects the endocrine and nervous systems (both central and parasympathetic), impairing synaptic transmission and causing involuntary movements and/or ataxia, which leads to rapid control of mobile mite stages.

The fatty acids in the formulation have significant ovicidal activity, complementing the overall action of the product. AKARYMAX® is a vital tool within integrated pest management programs, offering broad-spectrum control across various mite stages and species.

Mode of action

Preparation

Wear personal protective equipment: cotton overalls, respirator, face shield, gloves, and neoprene boots.
Work on stable surfaces to prevent the container from tipping over.
Use only appropriate tools to open containers and measure the product.
Shake thoroughly, mix, and then pour.
Prepare the mixture in a well-ventilated area.
Avoid splashes while handling the product.

Application

Always use personal protective equipment during the handling, preparation, and application of AKARYMAX®.
Dilute in a sufficient amount of water to ensure optimal plant coverage.
Apply by spraying using any ground equipment that ensures good foliage coverage in infected areas.

Dosage and Mixing

Fill the application tank halfway, add the product, and then complete with the required amount of water.
Keep the mixture in constant agitation to maintain homogeneity.
